New single by our new friends erik & ella

Released May 19th 2017, ”Han Som Har Flest Saker När Han Dör Han Vinner” is the debut single of Sthlm Songs’ artists Erik & Ella. It features the longest title with what may be the sparsest lyrics in quite a while, and yet the song places a firm boot in the male capitalist establishment…while being totally danceable. Dig it!

Sthlm Songs proudly gives you Felicia’s new single ”Window Nr 9”. About the song and the beautiful animated video she says:

”Window Nr 9 is a story about humanity, sexuality and power. In the song, a woman tells a story about her living as a sex worker. She lives in her own world, a utopia. In her world everyone is equal. She can see that the men that come to her are suffering, in need of help, and she wants to help. Window Nr 9 is a clash between two realities, as in the eyes of the men she is an object giving sexual satisfaction, nothing more. We all see the world through different eyes, and as long as the power resides among those who do not see everyone as equal, there will be oppression.”

”Sailor Heart” is The Heartbeat Band’s debut album. Sthlm Songs proudly presents this 8-song album filled to the brim with melancholy from the cold north of the band’s native Finland. The album is produced and recorded by Andreas Dahlbäck at Durango Recording, mixed by Markus Sjöberg at Sthlm Songs and mastered by Eric Broyhill at MonsterLab Audio.

Taking centre stage are the characteristic voices of Marcus Granfors and Felicia Eriksson with truly heartfelt and honest songwriting. The songs deal with the aftermath of breaking up from a long relationship and the resulting emotional drain, all in the timeless melodic and melancholic style that has become The Heartbeat Band’s trademark sound.

”Sailor Heart” follows the success of The Heartbeat Band’s first single ”Hands That Built”. Painstakingly crafted over a 2-year period, the album will be released and available worldwide at all major on-line stores December 16th, 2014.
